It’s getting close to the Aussie Millions Poker Championship 2009, just over a week to go. Can’t wait to see the action Downunder!
I couldn’t remember what happened last year, phew… is my memory that bad? So I did some surfing on YouTube and found some great footage. Speaking of surfing – Australia is a great place to visit and do some surfing. Aussie Millions takes place in Melbourne, but there’s plenty of surfing and poker to be played up the Gold Coast.

Who is the fat guy and where is he from? Jimmy whatever… How did he get into this poker tournament? Man just goes to show that anyone has a chance.

Ah this video brings back memories. I went to Melbourne last year, awesome place! I couldn’t believe how much like Europe it is, with trams and all. It was my first time in Australia so I was expecting wrestling crocodiles in the streets and stuff…Crocodile Dundee etc.
We saw a few characters playing poker at the Crown Casino! But it was only when we went further up to the north eastern corner of Australia that we saw the real characters that look like Crocodile Dundee! And the animals or reptiles that go with it. Took in an amazing visit to the Australian Zoo… You just have to go there, Steve Erwin started something good.
The poker didn’t go to well, but we had fun. Cool to see some of the pros in action. I’ll go back.

He has come so close every year that it has to be his turn this year.
